Lomak Social Media
Overview
During my time at Splash I assisted in creating social media posts for Lomak Bulk Carriers. Because Lomak is a well-established industrial bulk carrier in Northern BC that does not actively market to generate new business leads, their social media presence serves a distinct strategic purpose focused on employer branding, community relationship building, and employee recognition. Rather than driving direct client or service acquisition, the primary objective of this work was to build authentic community goodwill, reinforce internal company culture, and solidify Lomak's reputation as a safety-first industry leader.
Goals
- Create an animated instagram story replicating the opening scene of Pokémon Red featuring a company promoter as Professor Oak.
- Integrate interactive elements to encourage viewers to contact the company and skip lines at partner clubs.
- Design a collection of Pokémon trainer character illustrations based on the current club promoters in an 8-bit style
- Develop 3 unique and visually compelling motion graphics to promote the Lavelle nightclub on instagram
